, congressman paul ryan. this is a live picture of congressman ryan out of washington, d.c. his plan includes spending cuts, lower taxes and eliminating president obama's healthcare law. jamie dupree joinses us via skype from -- joins us via skype from washington, d.c. the senate is due to release the budget today and i'm guessing it's different from ryan's. >> reporter: yes, you are right. the gop envisions a balanced budget in ten years. democrats are not talking about that. there are no new taxes raised in the republican plan. one thing that's interesting is this -- the gop would do away with the obama health reforms and repeal the law. they would save about 35% of the budget savings in that budget plan but not mentioned at all are any of the tax increases that were put in the obama health law in order to fund a lot of those programs. that wasn't even mentioned in the gop plan. that's why i hesitate to call this that, even though everybody labels it a budget. a lot of the banks are not filled in. we expect the same thing from democrats when the
